Max Impact Israel

The MAX program has now been operating in Israel for the fourth year. It is a program for ‘social technological leadership’ that operates in 2 main levels of influence: 1. Education for social-technological leadership – training for social-technological entrepreneurship for high school students (within the annual technological final projects) working together with students in the faculties of entrepreneurship and design and a supportive business and social community 2. Creating social change – sprouting impact-technological ventures, on a wide scale, for realization and application in the business-social world. As part of the MAX program (non-profit), every year we produce multidisciplinary ‘task teams’ consisting of a 12th grade high school student majoring in technology together with an entrepreneurship student and a design student, who work together throughout the year as a dedicated entrepreneurial team, for the benefit of developing a technological-social project that reaches an initial technological application (prototype) with business-social feasibility. Today the program operates in both the social and geographic center and periphery and is accessible to Hebrew and Arabic speakers. So far, the program has supported over 100 social tech projects, among other things through cooperation and access to needs from the social world in collaboration with associations and social organizations such as: Beit Mikha, Or Yarok, Alut, Lasova, the Center for the Blind, Make a Wish, type 1 diabetes and more – to view the website of the projects that were supported this year visit www.max-imize.me

MeaTech

MeaTech is an international food-tech company, which is at the forefront of the cultured meat revolution. Traded on Nasdaq under the symbol “MITC”. The company began operations in 2019, with facilities in the science park in Ness Ziona, Israel, in Antwerp, Belgium, and began expansion to California, USA. The company believes that cultured meat technology has significant potential in improving meat production processes, streamlining the supply chain and expanding the range of products available today. MeaTech aims to be an alternative to industrialized agriculture, thereby reducing the serious problems associated with raising animals for industrial purposes such as carbon footprint, inefficient use of water resources and animal welfare. By adopting a modular production structure, MeaTech will be able to offer sustainable solutions for a variety of meat types, including beef, chicken and pork, both as raw materials and as whole cuts; and also provide production lines.

MiniMakers

MiniMakers is an educational impact initiative that enables students to learn a variety of subjects, ranging from STEM to English and Bible studies, through hands-on experiences and creative activities using materials, tools, and technological devices. As part of its activities, MiniMakers establishes learning spaces called "MakerSpaces" and supplies them with educational tools and materials. The company develops practical and unique pedagogical content that allows students to develop entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities based on innovation. Founded in 2014, MiniMakers is a pioneer in the field of tinkering and makerspaces. It has participated in government pilot programs with the Ministry of Education, the Stef Wertheimer Foundation, and Joint Israel. Over the years, the company has gained extensive experience in establishing and supporting approximately 100 educational institutions throughout the country. MiniMakers is recognized by the Ministry of Education through the Gefen Program Number 2400.

NeoPrefab develops and produces advanced prefabricated houses made from reinforced Composites utilizing plastic bottle waste for today’s environmental & social challenges. NeoPrefab full-scale mass production technologies, recycle and upgrade local plastic waste into high-performance, eco-friendly, durable houses, which can reach up to 100 houses per/factory every day.

Nostromo provides ice-based energy storage solutions to commercial and industrial buildings that reduce emissions and energy costs, and increase resilience. In this way, Nostromo helps accelerate the renewable revolution. The Nostromo IceBrick™ energy storage system uses ice to store energy when electricity prices are low and renewable energy is abundant, and discharge the energy to avoid purchasing electricity that is carbon intensive and expensive. The IceBrick is non-flammable, modular and compact, easily retrofitted to existing commercial and industrial buildings.

Most of the existing structures suffer from defects that affect our health, our functioning and also produce a waste of resources. We offer an energy efficiency survey for buildings that help to improve the efficiency of both electricity and water consumption, as well as the most valuable resource – the people. A combination of energy surveys, building quality standards and efficient construction that can bring maximum benefit and will also help reduce pollutant emissions. The survey method combines economic, environmental and community efficiency. The “Impact” route makes it possible to offer efficiency to non-profit structures, when the solutions for it will be financed from the initial profit generated for you from the efficiency you have carried out.

We are developing a machine for cleaning reusable diapers in one process. The consumer puts the dirty diaper in our machine without any pre-cleaning and within two hours there will be clean, sterile and ready-to-use diapers.
